Community Introduction Days at MAKÜ were held with enthusiasm

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) offered its students a colorful and lively campus atmosphere with the Community Introduction Days held between February 16-18. At MAKÜ, one of the universities in Turkey with the richest student communities, approximately 80 student communities set up stands to introduce their activities.

The events were held at the student cafeteria section of the İstiklal Campus Avşar Han Building. Communities operating in the fields of sports, science, art, and culture both explained their work and gained new members over the course of three days. The organization, coinciding with the start of the spring semester, also turned into a celebration of the new term for students.

Close attention from Rector Dalgar to the communities

MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, along with his management team, visited the stands and met with the students. Dalgar, who received information about the activities of each community, chatted with the students and wished them success in their work.

As part of the introduction days, mini concerts were also organized by the communities. The organization, which took place in a festive atmosphere with music recitals and various events, once again showcased the dynamism of social life on campus.

While students had the opportunity to directly join the communities they were interested in, the event was a strong indicator of the social and cultural diversity within the university.
